Karen Rice

Karen Rice has been helping people buy and sell homes throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania full-time since 2007. A lifelong Pike County resident, she knows the Lake Wallenpaupack area and the Northern Poconos not just as a real estate market, but as home.

Karen specializes in lakefront, waterfront, lakeview, vacation, and year-round properties throughout the region. She works primarily across Wayne, Pike, Monroe, and Lackawanna Counties, with clients often coming from the New York and New Jersey metro areas, Philadelphia, Northern Virginia, and Washington, DC.

As a solo agent, Karen is the person you talk to from start to finish. She believes in straightforward answers, clear communication, and giving clients the information they need to make good decisions. That matters even more with lake properties, where dock ownership, lake rights, shoreline access, community rules, and other details can make a big difference.

Karen has sold more than 500 homes over the years, but she would rather let her clients decide what they think of her work. There are no cheesy sales scripts, no pressure, and no endless follow-up calls. Just experienced guidance, honest opinions, and a healthy dose of humor when the situation calls for it.

And if you see Karen with Daphne, her faithful sidekick and occasional showing assistant, say hello. Daphne has strong opinions about lake houses and an even stronger opinion about good docks.
